DUNES

As last year, Dunes is organizing its Photography Competition in line with the Symposium. The process is simple: anyone can submit their best shots before September 20th 2010. A panel of 3 judges from Duke-NUS and Nikon will then select the winners which will be announced and exposed during Dunes Symposium on October 8th 2010.

This year, in addition to the existing Non-scientific and Scientific categories we added a new one: Cell phone pictures. This category allows people that don’t have a high quality digital camera to participate and show their originality, spontaneity and good eye. And more categories also mean more prizes, so don’t miss your chance! By submitting your photos, you stand a chance to win:

Non-Scientific Category
1st prize Nikon Coolpix S4000
2nd prize $100 shopping voucher
3rd prize $50 shopping voucher

Scientific Category
1st prize $200 shopping voucher
2nd prize $100 shopping voucher
3rd prize $50 shopping voucher

Cell Phone Category
1st prize $200 shopping voucher

Guidelines for submission
- Send your pictures, along with a title, the place it was taken and your name and department to photos@dunes.sg.
- 3 submissions maximum per person in each category.
- Deadline: September 20th 2010
